Other people’s opinions of you are irrelevant. If they want to paint you as something you are not, let them. This is due to their own distortion of inner wounds and shadow projection. If you are living your life authenticity, you never have anything to prove. The truth just is.
The most genuine of desires do not come when we seek, but when our heart decides to speak of them in its own timing.
Ok, I’m gonna interrupt sharing session cuz I wanna talk about something real quick.
One reason people find it hard to accept God is because we are unwilling to trust God even in the darkest of times. We expect God to always make everything positive. As if He should be acting on our own terms. While horrible things are horrible, God cannot be the cause of these bad things because a Good God cannot beget Sin (think of it like a fish can’t be born from a chicken). In the end, humanity causes its own problems.
We may pray or ask God to help us but we are like children holding stuffed animals in our hands. God wants to give us something better but in order to do that we need to let go of these stuffed animals (i.e. whatever has mastered us, the most deep-rooted being pride and control). God in His goodness will not force open our hands to accept whatever He has for us. And we can’t expect Him to give us anything if our hands/hearts are still full of something else.
God still absolutely sovereign. But until we fully understand our own finiteness and our desperate need to trust Him, we will always judge God especially when bad things happen to us.
Also remember Jesus went through horrible things and even He had asked God the Father to take away this suffering but ultimately that His Will be done. God in the end did not take away the suffering but as a result, gave humanity the ultimate gift of salvation through Jesus’ sacrifice.
